Morning Prayer

As Christians, we should be able

to expect,

accept

and embrace

the gifts of grace and love from God.

Let us pray;

Lord,

Today, I expect to be filled with Your graces and love, an expectation rooted not in arrogance or pride but in trust and faith. I expect to be filled with humble gratitude and peace and hope. I expect love to flow from You through me. I expect these things because I know You give them to me freely, every day. Thank you.

I ask for one more grace....that being the grace to fully accept Your gifts and to cherish and share them.

As Your beautiful gifts are showered upon me, may I embrace them and set them free into the world- so that the world may see Your glory and give You praise.

I ask these things by and in Your name; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
