Let's talk motivation...it is a good possibility that if you are reading this blog you have probably seen the weight loss commercial that is aired every spring where the girl hangs up an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini as motivation to lose weight while the corresponding song plays in the background.
It didn't dawn on me until today why that particular commercial never felt particularly motivating. Well sure, I'm not the bikini wearing type but still the thought of swimsuit season should motivate me somewhat, right?
Actually, on the way home from the track (yeah me),the itsy bitsy song came to my mind and I realized what the song should be in order to motivate me....here goes...you might be thankful that you can't hear me actually sing this...:)
Itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, turquoise striped pants to go skiing... lol Yep, that might work.
I love to ski but haven't for a few years because of my weight and knee problems.
Yesterday I was writing about a local ski resort and I felt a tug on my motivation...you want to ski again, Julie...yes, yes I do. So find those turquoise ski pants and hang em up where you can see them. lol
So my hope for you today is that you discover what motivates you.
