Today I had a "Oh, I get it now moment" which was quickly followed by the thought, why did it take 40 + years for me to get that? I didn't even see it coming.
If you're laughing, all I have to say is, "Go ahead, laugh, I deserve it but you know someday this could happen to you, too and then I'll be so understanding. Yes, I will be very understanding and I will be laughing. With you, of course."
In honor of "seeing" I have added a video bar that connects to YouTube videos. One in particular, by Brandon Heath, Give Me Your Eyes is amazing and I hope you will listen to it or watch the video.
A few years ago, I read a series of books about seeing with the eyes of Jesus. The concept of seeing people, I mean really seeing people, beyond the facades is something that I think God has been trying to teach me for as long as I can remember.
It isn't easy but when I've taken the time to try and see people as God does, so many things fall away. This God lesson on "seeing" has I hope made me a better person but I also know I have so much more to learn. Though the lessons on "seeing" have been incredibly difficult I can honestly say I am glad to have experienced them.
There is so much good in this world to see.
If you are experiencing blindness, my prayer for you today, is that God will grant you the miracle of seeing.
Peace!

Thought for the day: Begin your journey of seeing with the eyes of God by looking in the mirror.
